ONETOTAL shows a merchant a single combined sales total from their own Shopify and Square accounts. This page explains what data the app touches and what we do with it.
When you connect Shopify and/or Square, ONETOTAL reads order and payment records only — order totals, item names, quantities, timestamps, tax, shipping, tips, and refunds. We request read-only access and never request permission to modify your store, products, or orders. We never receive full payment card numbers or other card details; those are handled entirely by Shopify and Square.
We store the order data above so the app can show current and historical totals without re-fetching everything on every screen. We also store the access tokens Shopify and Square issue when you connect your account. These tokens are encrypted at rest and are used only to read your order data on your behalf.
We don't sell or share your data with third parties. We don't run advertising or ad-tracking of any kind. We don't use your sales data for anything other than showing it back to you in the app.
If you invite another device to your store (Settings → Invite a device), that device gets access to the same sales data described above. You control who you invite.
You can disconnect Shopify or Square at any time from Settings, which revokes our access immediately. To delete your account and all associated data entirely, email us at the address below.
